The Museum of Early Trades & Crafts May 2018 Program

Submitted by Jill B. Alexander

We invite you to join us at Museum of Early Trades & Crafts as we celebrate spring! On Thursday afternoon and evening, May 17, the Museum will literally “Raise the Roof” as we explore the structure and history of the East Jersey Cottage. At 4 p.m., join master carpenter Tyler Merson on the front lawn to build a scale model of an East Jersey Cottage. Then at 7 p.m., step inside the building where architect and historian Janet Foster, will tell us the story behind this very unique New Jersey-style architecture. This event is free to the public and donations to the Museum are welcome.
