Souper Bowl of Caring Food Drive

Members of the Lincoln School Class of 2021 who were running for Student Council office helped bag food donations for the district’s annual Souper Bowl of Caring food drive. Nearly 200 canned and boxed food items were collected for this year’s one-day event. Donations were then delivered to a local food pantry by the members of the Garwood Knights of Columbus.
This year’s Student Council will participate in weekly virtual meetings. Four officers were selected through a virtual election; homeroom representatives were selected by students in fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grade. The group is led by their advisor Tamara Benc.
