(Somerset County, NJ: April 28, 2015) Somerset County Library System of New Jersey (SCLSNJ) is teaming up with The LOFT and other stores in The Village at Bridgewater Commons for Women’s Night Out: Dress for Success on Thursday, May 28, 5-9 pm. The event will be held at The LOFT, 610 Commons Way in Bridgewater.

Women’s Night Out: Dress for Success will be an evening of personalized attention to women. SCLSNJ will have librarians on hand to educate attending women about the ways the library can help with resume and job interview prep, research, education and so much more. The LOFT will have personal stylists on hand to help attendees find the perfect dress to impress professional outfit, which they can purchase with an exclusive discount. There will be giveaways from SCLSNJ and Starbucks, as well as discounts offered at other stores in The Village at Bridgewater Commons, including BlueMercury, White House Black Market, and Brooks Brothers.

“Our goal is to reach out to female college students, recent graduates, business professionals and women reentering the workforce after time off to inspire and empower them,” said Samantha Gale, SCLSNJ programming coordinator. “The aim here is to give women confidence when tackling the business world – and let them know what resources there are right here in their community to help them along their way.”
