Rotary Welcomes New Members

The Rotary Club of North Plainfield and Plainfield welcomed two new members recently. Dr. Regina Riccioni, dean of the Plainfield campus of Union County College, was inducted into the club on March 23. Dr. Riccioni recently assumed her new position as dean and is responsible for oversight of the Plainfield campus during the expansion of its health care education curriculum.
The club also welcomed Debbie-Ann Anderson, executive director of Homefirst, Inc., in Plainfield. Homefirst was founded as Interfaith Council for the Homeless of Union County in a partnership with religious congregations to provide homeless women and families with shelter, food and supportive services. They now provide transitional housing, social support, and other services.
The Rotary Club of Plainfield-North Plainfield welcomes new members who have an interest in serving others while developing new friendships. The club meets Wednesdays at 12:15 PM in Giovanna’s Restaurant, 1462 South Avenue, Plainfield. Come as a guest and see what Rotary is all about.
