Congratulations to the New Providence High School Class of 2023

Project Graduation 2023

NPHS PTSA Senior Class

Congratulations to the New Providence High School Class of 2023 who graduated Friday, June 16th!

After Commencement and some family time, almost 130 seniors headed off to Project Graduation – a drug and alcohol free, last hurrah as the NPHS Class of 2023. The destination for this overnight event was Rock ‘n’ Air in East Brunswick, featuring a HUGE adventure park, obstacle and ninja courses, laser tag, virtual reality, rock walls, ropes courses, food, music, and even room to relax with friends.

This event was made possible by the NPHS PTSA Senior Class Committee and Project Graduation team. PG Chairs Janet Barth & Nadine Geoffroy worked tirelessly to secure a new venue and ensure this memorable event had something for everyone. Solicitation chair Joan Agresto and her team provided information to local businesses asking to help sponsor our event. Thank you to all our sponsors! A special shout out goes to our major sponsor – the NP Alliance.

Annual fundraisers, including the Pioneer Pathway – a paver project to highlight and honor members of the NPHS Community especially graduating seniors – also help defray costs. In addition, the PTSA was able to sponsor students who were unable to afford the ticket price with the additional help of “pay-it-forward” donations by senior parents.

Diane Bilicska (Pereira), Senior Class Committee Chair, noted that many parents helped on the Senior Class Committee throughout the year, spearheading various fundraisers, supporting efforts, volunteering time, and running various events for the Class of 2023. The support of the New Providence High School principal, administration, custodial staff, the New Providence Board of Education, the PTSA, and multiple volunteers is invaluable to our efforts each year and deserve recognition. It doesn’t take a village, it takes a New Providence!

The NPHS PTSA supports ALL students. The Senior Class committee strives to provide a memorable senior year culminating in Project Graduation – a substance free event for the entire graduating class.

Please consider supporting our efforts in the future. For information or to be included in our mailing list, contactseniorclass@nphsptsa.org.
