Knights of Columbus Councils Join Forces

The Cranford and Garwood Knights of Columbus Councils joined forces and held a Football Championship Fundraiser at the Columbian Club of Garwood Hall in Garwood on Sunday, January 30th. This worthy event was a tremendous success with over 100 guests attending, and by working together, the Councils were able to raise over $5,000 for our two worthy designated charities. Donations will be made to the Anne Salway Dolan Memorial Scholarship and to Cranford Brother Knight Bob Scheurer and his family to help with Bob’s courageous battle against Cancer.

There are too many people to thank here with both Councils as this event was put together with only two weeks of prior planning. Based on the success of this event, both Councils will be doing some more events like this, and are in the process of planning another one on April 2nd for the NCAA Final Four Championship games to help and support another worthy cause. Save the date and see below for contact information.

The Cranford Knights of Columbus is a Catholic Fraternal Organization dedicated to our Four Core Principles: Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. The Cranford Council supports many charities and civic causes locally, state-wide, and nationally and is committed to being a viable part of our community. For information about joining the Cranford Council, please contact our Grand Knight Jerry Conheeney at 908-416-3464 or visit the Council website at cranfordknights.org.
