Kenilworth Public Library Coordinates Turtle Back Zoo 4-Day Camp Experience

The Kenilworth Public Library coordinated a free 4-day camp experience for 40 children and teens at Turtle Back Zoo located in West Orange during the first week in July.

The mission of Turtle Back Zoo camp is to foster an appreciation for wildlife and the natural world through fun and educational activities.

The campers were introduced to the extraordinary world of animals, nature, and science.
Children enjoyed age appropriate camp activities that included games, teacher-led lessons, behind-the-scenes visits, up-close animal encounters, hands-on science projects, and fun crafts.
The Kenilworth Public Library was very happy to provide assistance in the coordination of this amazing opportunity.

This free camp experience was funded by The Ralph Errington Foundation.
