Hartz Mountain Industries Breaks Ground on Linden Warehouse Facility

Hartz Mountain Industries, Inc., New Jersey’s largest commercial real estate developer and owner, officially broke ground on its latest industrial building in Linden. The building, to be located on Lower Road, will contain 156,000 square feet of modern warehouse space and will boast 36 foot clear ceilings, 39 loading docks, 58 truck parking spaces and 166 car parking spaces. It will be available for occupancy in March of 2017. “Linden, as well as the overall Northern New Jersey industrial market, is very strong and we look forward to developing and bringing this building to market,” said Constantino Milano, President and Chief Operating Officer of Hartz. “The site has excellent access to the New Jersey and Interstate Highway systems and provides an exciting opportunity to expand our industrial holdings.”
“The City of Linden is happy that Hartz Mountain has again decided to develop and invest in Linden. The new facility is one the fruits of our economic development program and will create new construction and permanent employment opportunities for the residents of Linden, as well as a new tax ratable,” said Linden Mayor Derek Armstead. “We welcome Hartz.”
