Fanwood’s Annual Halloween Parade and Costume Contest to Be Held October 31st

Scary times return to Fanwood this fall! The annual Fanwood Halloween Parade and Costume Contest will be held on October 31st.
The parade will begin at 6:15 p.m. Children and Adults participating should assemble at 6 p.m. at Fanwood Memorial Library on the front lawn, located on the corner of North Avenue and Forest Road. There will be an inflatable Wacky Castle Fun Center to enjoy from 4:30 p.m. until the parade steps off.
The parade will end at La Grande Park at approximately 6:30 p.m. A costume contest will be held at that time for children of all ages.
There will also be a Jack-o-Lantern Contest. Anyone who wants to enter a pumpkin in the Jack-o-Lantern Contest should bring his or her carved creation to the park and fill out an entry form by 6:30 p.m.
Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes and the best jack-o-lanterns! Free cider, donuts and coffee will be available. This evening of fun and festivities is presented by the Fanwood and Recreation Commission.
