Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad Assists with Patriots’ Night Event

Clark Patriots’ Night Event

Submitted by Susan Alacchi

The Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad was on hand when the Township honored Clark Veterans on Friday, October 7. The event preceded the ALJ football game against Hillside.

“The stands were pretty full,’ said EMT Mike Hajkowski, who was on hand with EMT Gary Wagner. Gary is one of the squad’s longest-running members, serving the community since 1974.

The Squad was on hand to tend to any medical problems. Fortunately, our expertise was not required. The Crusaders bowed to the Hillside Comets with a final score of 33 – 7, making the Crusaders 4 – 2 for the season.

The Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad has been serving the Clark community since 1941, supported entirely by donations. Donations can be mailed to The Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad at 875 Raritan Road Clark.
