Auburn Tigers Win Summit Junior Baseball League Championship

The Auburn Tigers won the Summit Junior Baseball League Championship 7-1. The 7th and 8th grade team also won the Regular Season trophy after finishing the Suburban League recreation season 10-2, a full 3 games ahead of the 2nd place team. During the regular season they scored 114 runs and gave up 66 runs.
They were undefeated in the playoffs, going 3-0 while scoring 19 runs and giving up only 3. They had multiple games where every boy had a hit and several games where every boy scored a run. During the regular season they managed to use 8 different pitchers.

(above) Al Lord and John Mencke coached the team. The players included: Bradley Chao, Ronnie Faris, Austin Groce, Jonathan Liang, Charlie Lord, Brendan Mcdonald, Jack Mencke, Jake Puskar, Palmer Shikany, Gregory Spitznagel and Ryan Tomlin.
