American Sign Language Honor Society Induction

Seven students from Arthur L. Johnson High School were inducted into the American Sign Language Honor Society (ASLHS) this year. They are the first students ever to be inducted into ALJ’s ASLHS. Ms. Loren Hsu, the society’s advisor, applied for a charter this year to start the Honor Society.
In order to be eligible for ASLHS, students must have a 3.2 overall GPA and a 3.5 GPA in ASL. They also must be enrolled in ASL for two years.
“I am incredibly proud of the accomplishments of these seven students. I know they will continue to share their love of this language in their future,” stated Hsu.
