Linden’s Make Cancer Disappear Fundraiser

‘Make Cancer Disappear’ fundraiser to benefit two Linden families

Linden Public Schools will host a “Make Cancer Disappear” magic and comedy show on Friday, May 3, 2019 to benefit the families of two students battling cancer.

The show at McManus Middle School at 6:30 p.m. will feature comedian John Pizzi and magician Joe Holiday and will benefit the families of School No. 1 third-grader Arion Mamudi and School No. 8 second-grader Isabel Dominguez. Arion is receiving treatments for osteosarcoma, and Issy for leukemia.

Proceeds will also go toward the Valerie Fund, which supplies robots to schools to help kids keep up with their schoolwork while they are having treatments.

Tickets are $10 and can be obtained from elementary school technology teacher Kim Kefalas at kkefalas@lindenps.org.
