Teacher Earns NJAMLE’s Middle Level Educator of the Year Award

Christine Casale-Broski, a sixth grade language arts teacher at Carl H. Kumpf Middle School in Clark, was recently named the Middle Level Educator of the Year by the New Jersey Association for Middle Level Education. According to NJAMLE, the award is given to one middle level educator in New Jersey who “demonstrates effective classroom practices, a positive classroom environment, and  a balance between addressing students’ cognitive and affective needs. This award serves to honor distinction in performance, skill in practice, and passion in participation.”

Casale-Broski, who is in her eighth year of teaching, stated, “It’s a wonderful feeling to get recognized for doing something that you love. The award is an honor but one that I share with the entire school community.  In addition to working with many talented students and supportive parents, I’m very fortunate to work with such dedicated educators and administrators on a daily basis.”
