Booglerizeers at Salem Roadhouse Cafe

The Salem Roadhouse Café proudly presents The Booglerizeers, who will be performing on Saturday, August 12, 2017. They’ve played at the Roadhouse Café several times before. What exactly are the Booglerizers? We’ve been telling audiences about them for some time now, and every time we try our best to categorize their music, we come up short. Eclectic? Well, yes. Bluegrass?….sure, that too. Country? Yeah, a little bit. Folksy? Yup. Down home, foot tapping “barrelhouse” fun? Exactly!
It’s pure Americana; condensed, distilled and served to your liking with a touch of humor thrown in. Oh, but they’re serious about their fare. Watch these guys play. You can’t fake it with this style of musical stew. It’s warm, it’s filling, it’s tasty. It’ll make you forget the hustle of living in New Jersey with all the stress, the noise, and the prices. For those few hours in their living room, no, more like the front porch, these guys will take you on a journey of pure mountain folklore where despite your inner reserves you’ll find yourself tapping your foot, humming along, and clapping out loud. That’s exactly it. Have fun, enjoy, be at ease with the root stuff of music that we all have in ourselves. Songs with titles like “Spider Hat Pin” and “She Can’t Stop Dreaming Of Elvis” are sure to get anyone’s curiosity up. Come to the show, watch and listen, and get into the musical web the Booglerizers weave. They’ll be here at the Roadhouse Café on Saturday, August 12 at 8:00PM. They’ll be there right there in the middle, up front, close and intimate, as only the Roadhouse can deliver. You won’t miss a single nuance.
Original art work by local artist Kathleen Heron will be on display at the Roadhouse Gallery Of Fine Art.
