On Sunday, November 10, 2019, the Union Township Historical Society will host Union County Clerk and author Joanne Hamilton Rajoppi at Connecticut Farms Presbyterian Church, 888 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union. At 3 p.m., she will present “Revolutionary Elizabethtown and Connecticut Farms,” based on the research for her newest work, a novel about the story of Elizabethtown in the volatile years, 1777-1780, when the American Revolution seemed doomed. Ms. Rajoppi has written two historical non-fiction works about New Jersey history and now has turned to record this exciting era of the colony of  New Jersey, and focuses on the men and women who played key roles in changing the course of our history and whose presence is still felt today.

Admission to the event is free. Refreshments will be served. For more information, go to unionnjhistory.com.
