Incident Response Recovery Assistance Trailer Donated To Linden F.M.B.A.

The Linden F.M.B.A. Firefighter’s Local 34 and Fire Officers Local 234 received a donation for the purchase of a trailer to be used as an Incident Response Recover Assistance Trailer. During the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy Linden F.M.B.A. Locals realized a need for a recovery assistance program for the city residents. They came up with the idea of a recovery trailer outfitted with generators, grills, tents, lighting, clothing and other items to assist residents in times of emergencies or disasters. Hearing of the idea the Pribish Family, headed by Mrs. Judith Pribish, stepped up and made a very generous donation for the purchase of the trailer to help get the program underway. The long-time Linden residents donated the trailer to the Linden F.M.B.A. Locals in memory of Judith’s husband Retired Linden Firefighter Frank Pribish who is also the father of Firefighter Matthew Pribish. Now with this trailer loaded and a program in place the firefighter locals can respond to an incident when needed and better be able to assist the residents in recovery from an emergency.
