On December 12th, American Legion Post 433 in New Providence held its 7th Annual Cookie Walk. Well over 100 trays of donated homemade cookies from which to choose, and Santa greeting children with candy canes, it was fun for the whole family!
Post 433’s American Legion Volunteers in Service (A.L.V.I.S) raised almost $1700 in just a few hours. The Annual Cookie Walk contributes to the Post’s LCPL Chritopher B. Cosgrove III, USMC Handicap Facilities Fund. The fund was established to provide a handicap restroom, entrance ramp and doorway at the Post Home on Elkwood Ave in New Providence. If you missed the Walk last year, please mark your calendar for Saturday, December 10th 2016 so you can be sure to be there.
