BSA Troop 17 Honors Scouts at Eagle Court of Honor

BSA Troop 17’s newest Eagle Scouts

BSA Troop 17 celebrated its Eagle Court of Honor on Saturday, May 11^th, 2024. Nathaniel Phillips, Joseph Radics, Manal Jha, and Leonard Yu were honored during the ceremony for their advancement to the highest level of scouting. Fewer than 5% of all boys who participate in scouting achieve the Eagle Scout award. These newest Eagle Scouts bring the total to 159 Eagles in the 80-year history of BSA Troop 17.

Prior to the ceremony, Troop 17 presented St. Rose of Lima with a new flag for their flagpole. It was given with heartfelt appreciation and gratitude for the parish’s ongoing support of our scouting programs. The flag was blessed by Fr. Larry Evans.
