David Brearley High School’s global studies classes recognize the importance to appreciate, support and thank our troops. After studying the great wars of the past, our students understood the necessity of reaching out to the soldiers through friendly letters. In addition, our students collected a plethora of items which included entertainment, personal hygiene and non-perishable food items. As proud educators, Ms. Nichole Spampinato and Mrs. Elizabeth Marranca, believed this service project afforded their students the ability to connect our small community with our protectors through small acts of compassion.
