Young and the Restless Star Visits High School

Emmy Award winning actress Tracey Bregman, known for her roles on The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful, sat down for an intimate conversation with the students of Union High School’s Advanced Musical Theater Class last week. Bregman began her career at age 11 and has been nominated for 5 Daytime Emmy awards with one win for her work on The Young and the Restless. She gave insight to her career and provided sound advice to the class on being successful in the entertainment industry. Students listened intently to her stories and asked questions about her soap life. She shared “I had such an incredible time coming to Union High School and talking to the amazing Theatre Arts students. They asked thought provoking questions and were so welcoming. And how lucky are all the students to have the incredible Mr. Mosser as their teacher!” Advanced Musical Theater teacher James Mosser added “Ms. Bregman is an incredible professional, she spoke to the students about acting techniques, her schedule on Young and the Restless, and the importance of being on time and prepared as an actor. It was really wonderful to have a successful Emmy Award winning actress wiling to answer questions about their career aspirations and process.” “Meeting Tracey was very intriguing and different,” stated UHS Junior Abby Hagen. “It was interesting to hear about how a soap opera is filmed, and how challenging a normal day of filming is in comparison to putting on a live musical. She had a lot of energy and it was easy to see how she is so successful.”
