“The Shape of Clay” Exhibit on Display Warren Township Library

“The Shape of Clay,” an exhibit by advanced ceramics students from the Center for Contemporary Art in Bedminster, will be on display this March at SCLSNJ’s Warren Township Library branch, located at 42 Mountain Boulevard in Warren, NJ.
Led by instructor John Reinking, who also teaches at Raritan Valley Community College and the County College of Morris, students work independently following specific themes and assignments as they support and learn from each other. Reinking encourages students to submit pieces to juried shows around the country.
Fun facts: Kelly’s interest in pottery and ceramics started when she began digging up clay from a sewer pipe in her native England at the age of 11, which made her mother quite unhappy! Nierenberg ran the flying school at Princeton Airport for over 45 years, and was indulging in her love of ceramics whenever she could take a break from the interesting mОtier. “The Shape of Clay” will be on display at SCLSNJ’s Warren Township Library branch until March 31.
