Space For Rent at Nitschke House

As part of a fundraising effort to help defray building expenses, space at the Nitschke House may now be rented for meetings, photo sessions, art exhibits, small weddings, vow-renewal ceremonies, receptions, parties, showers and other occasions. The site, which comprises five period rooms authentically furnished in late 19th/early 20th-century style; an exhibition center featuring two available rooms equipped with track lighting; and a cultural arts center with a small kitchen and accessible restroom. Nitschke House (49 S. 21 Street, Kenilworth) has most recently served as the venue for an African Tea Ceremony hosted by the Kenilworth Historical Society in commemoration of Black History Month as well as the focal point of various other community programs and activities throughout the year.
