The Rotary Club of Kenilworth held their annual Casino Night on June 2, 2017.at the Kenilworth VFW hall. Proceeds from this fundraiser will give Kenilworth students the opportunity to qualify for one of two programs “Send Our Children to Summer Camp” or the “Kenilworth Scholarship Program”. The summer camp program is offered to 5th – 8th grade students, whose families cannot afford the cost of sending their children to summer camp. The Scholarship program provides financial help to Kenilworth’s high school seniors planning to attend college.
Established in 1948, the Kenilworth Rotary Club has been an active service organization, helping local schools, the Kenilworth community and national organizations for nearly 70 years. The club meets each Wednesday at Rinaldi’s (24 North 20th Street in Kenilworth) from 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
