Resident Collaborates on New Release

Cranford resident and songwriter / producer Justin Gabriel Ardolino collaborated with New York City singer / songwriter Kiirstin Marilyn on a heartfelt tribute to her grandmother with the release of Kiirstin’s song “She”.
“The song’s main theme centers around the sacrifices that Kiirstin’s grandmother made in order to escape Estonia after World War II,” Ardolino explains, “and her arrival in America as an immigrant.”
The song was recorded and arranged at Ardolino’s home studio in Cranford, where he cowrote and co-produced the track with Kiirstin. It took on a whole parallel meaning and became an anthem for all women – a testament to the power of female resilience in the face of misogyny.
Additional engineering and recording was provided by Cranford native David Mambach at his studio MacroSound.
Additional instrumentation was provided by Grammy award winning Benny Reiner, who is currently performing in the Broadway production of Hamilton. Reiner also mixed and mastered the track. “She” is the first single on Kiirstin’s forthcoming album “Worldly Affairs.” For more information visit KiirstinMarilyn.com.
