New Snack Shack Debuts

On the evening of Friday, September 16th, Arthur L. Johnson High School had a ceremonial ribbon cutting to debut a new snack shack for the school’s athletic events. Many dignitaries attended the event, including Superintendent Ed Grande, Principal Rick Delmonaco, Mayor Sal Bonaccorso, and Board of Education Members Scott Bohm, Tom Lewis, and Robert Smoral.
The evening began with a few words from Athletic Director Gus Kalikas, who presented a plaque to the Booster Club to adorn the walls of the new snack shack. A ceremonial ribbon cutting occurred next.
The snack shack is run primarily by the Arthur L. Johnson High School’s Athletic Booster Club, who diligently sells concessions throughout the school’s home athletic contests. Booster Club members Scott Bohm, Melissa Purcell, and Elisa Cuccalo ran the stand this (and many other) Friday, and they feel that the new stand will ultimately allow for the club to raise more money to give back to all of the athletic programs.
