Doggy Dip at Summit Family Aquatic Center

The Summit Department of Community Programs is announcing the third annual Doggy Dip will take place on Saturday, September 9 at the Summit Family Aquatic Center, located at 100 Ashwood Avenue. The event is open to Summit residents and non-residents. The rain date is Sunday, September 10.
The fee to attend is $10 per dog for Summit residents and $15 per dog for non-residents. Small dogs (under 20 lbs.) can swim from 9 to 9:45AM, followed by medium dogs (20 to 50lbs) from 10 to 10:45AM. There will be two swimming sessions for large dogs (over 50lbs), from 11 to 11:45AM and 12 to 12:45PM. A maximum of 40 dogs per size group is allowed, with two groups for large dogs.
Interested participants should register online with a credit card prior to the event using Community Pass. Walk-ins are welcome as space allows, and can pay with cash or check only. All participants will be required to sign a waiver at check-in.
All dogs must be accompanied by at least one owner who is 18 years of age or older. Dogs must be six months of age or older, current on all vaccinations, and have a valid license tag. Please note that there is no human swimming during the Doggy Dip.
