Get ready for a busy Sunday, September 17! Summit Downtown, Inc. is excited to announce the entertainment schedule for Arts + Cars on Sunday, September 17. Special thanks to Regal Bank for sponsoring the musical entertainment.
9-10am – Performances from New Jersey Dance Theatre Ensemble (NJDTE) 

Located in Summit, NJDTE provides the highest quality, pre-professional training to aspiring dancers through professional experiences with world-renowned dancers, teachers, choreographers, and musicians. Founded in 1969 under the direction of internationally acclaimed ballet master Alfredo Corvino, and led by award-winning Artistic Director Nancy Turano since 1994, NJDTE has maintained a successful dance curriculum with an unparalleled outcome of artistic excellence. 10:30am-12:30pm – The Baby Please
The Baby Please is an alternative rock cover band from Maplewood, NJ. They play an eclectic mix of 70s SoCal Rock, alt country, and 90s alt rock with a set list spanning from the Eagles and Neil Young to Ryan Adams, The Cure, and Coldplay. For more information, visit thebabyplease.com.
1-3pm – The B Street Band
The B Street Band will be headlining the festival! The B Street Band is the preeminent Bruce Springsteen cover band and has been impressing Bruce Fans and fans of good ol’ rock and roll alike since 1980. They have performed extensively in New Jersey and around the country including on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, at the NJ Special Olympics, and several star-studded fundraisers. In addition to live entertainment on stage all day, the P.A.L. Classic Car Show will be on Union Place, Beechwood Road, and Bank Street. A juried art show, co-sponsored by the Visual Arts Center of NJ and Summit Downtown, Inc., will be held on Springfield Avenue. The show will include photography, paintings, jewelry, fibers, and ceramics available for sale.
