This year’s hot food will be for sale by the new Embassy Suites “Gastro Truck,” and bottled water will be sold by the Rotary Club. Carnival-type games will be on site for all to play. Local businesses and community organizations will also have exhibits at the Festival. Try out your pitching arm at the “Dunk Tank” with local “celebrities” being dunked! Other exciting happenings during the event are teen bands and live DJ, Scout-O-Rama, Bouncy House, and other kids games. New this year, our two Boy Scout troops in town are working on water balloon catapults.
Funds raised by the Festival go first to Governor Livingston High School Senior Scholarships. This event also supports other Rotary Club’s projects, including our Medic- Alert program for over 200 area solo senior citizens, helping over 400 local Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, and supporting in-town organizations such as the Police Department, Volunteer Rescue Squad, the Public Library, all school libraries, and Memorial Park Committee, to name a few.
